Kiilto Pro Fireproof I 20 is flame retardant for insulation materials.

Used for fire protection of wood and plant fibre-based insulation materials. Also suitable for paper and cardboard when hydrophobic properties are not needed.

8-20 % of dry flame retardant based on the material weight.
Do not allow the product to freeze.
Up to 6 months in closed containers at temperatures of 12-30 °C. Mix before use.
Mix the product well before use. Mix the flame retardant with the insulation material. Wet material can be left to dry on its own or it can be dried with heat/air. Do not heat above 200 °C. Application of 8-20 weight-% of dry flame retardant evenly in the material should reach the desired fire protection. Additionally, the flame retardant can also be applied to the surface of the material by spraying to further improve the fire response. For paper and cardboad materials, any method of surface application will work.
