Safe and encouraging work community

Our operating environment changes faster than ever. Demands related to technology, sustainability, customer needs, and regulation are growing, both challenging us and creating opportunities. Ensuring a future-proof organisation also places demand on Kiilto as a workplace.

Building a high-performing, safe, and encouraging work community, guided by cultural cornerstones, is one of Kiilto’s strategic priorities. Kiilto provides opportunities for continuous personal development to over 700 Kiiltonians across nine countries.

The right kind of chemistry

Kiilto´s Promise to People consists of three work streams, of which two concern Kiiltonians directly: The health, safety, and security work stream and the inspiration and competence work stream aim to develop Kiilto as a workplace. The human rights in the value chain work stream builds Kiilto´s social responsibility in the value chain, both in upstream and downstream operations. All work streams have clear targets set to support the strategy.

The health, safety, and security

We increase health, safety and security within our value chain.

Targets:

  • Zero security incidents.

We continuously invest in physical ergonomics aiming to reduce musculoskeletal disorders and ergonomic risks.

To maintain the  exposure values related to dust, chemicals and noise on a good level, we have a frequent assessment procedure in all our production sites. Based on the results, we have a roadmap for measurements and actions for maintenance and improvements.

Our management and personnel are committed to improve safety.

We assess and mitigate risks and follow the best practices of Responsible Care Security Code. We are aiming to certify our management system according to ISO27001.

Such observations are also collected in annual employee surveys.
