Kiiltomelt S 222 is an edge banding hot-melt adhesive with good after-heat resistance. The adhesive does not web and is easy to apply. Suitable for melamine impregnated paper-edge strips, PVC-edge strips/laths, ABS-edge strips/laths, veneer strips, laminate and solid wood laths gluing. Adhesive is compliant with M1 Emission Classification of Building Materials.

The adhesive is melted in the adhesive tank. The minimum feed speed of the machine is 20 m/min. If the feed speed is lower than recommended, the adhesive temperature on the applicator roll must be raised in order to prevent the adhesive from cooling prematurely. For longer breaks in the work the adhesive temperature should be decreased, otherwise the adhesion and flowing properties of the adhesive may weaken.
