Granuldisk Granules
Washing Granules
Special features
- Mechanical booster
- No separate soaking required
The effect of small blue plastic granules is based on the mechanical washing effect they provide together with Granuldisk machines. Sprayed by strong pumps, the granules scrub even the most persistent stains off cooking dishes without separate pre-soaking.

The dosage of the granules varies by machine type: GD 600/6 l, GD 700/8 l, GD 900/20 l
Checking the amount of granules: all new machines are equipped with a granule collection container that makes it easier to collect granules for washing or checking their amount. (see the instructions for use of the machine)
In old machine models, the amount of granules is checked when the granules are at the bottom of the tank and the tank water has been drained:
- In GD 600, you must remove the washing tank screen to see the bottom of the washing tank.
The top surface of the granules must be at the vertical and slanting (tank bend) seams of the washing tank (see the instructions for use)
- In GD 700, there is a mark line for the correct granule amount on the edge of the washing tank.
- In GD 900, the granule level must be approx. 2 cm below the tank bend (see the instructions for use).
Granules must be added whenever there is too little of them. The amount of granules must be correct at all times to reach the optimum washing result. It is recommended to check it at least twice a month. This is an easy procedure in connection with the cleaning of granules – to be performed either when the granules are in the tank or collected in a granule collection container.
The cleaner the granules, the lower the hygiene risk and malodours. The cleanliness of the granules also has effects on the washing result. We recommend that the granules be rinsed daily, especially if the machine sees a lot of use.
Unused granules are treated as non-hazardous waste. Most appropriately sorted as combustible waste. Used granules must be collected in a plastic bucket closed with a lid or in a plastic bag before sorting as combustible waste.
Action in case of a leak: Wipe the floor to prevent slipping.
