The adhesive that holds strong, then lets go.

Introducing our signature product, Kiilto Pro Debond, and the innovation behind it: Debonding on Demand (DoD) technology.

Traditional adhesives trap valuable materials together permanently. Once bonded, materials are often impossible to recycle or reuse without damage. What if adhesive could hold strong without holding on forever?

At Kiilto, we’ve developed a groundbreaking adhesive, and a method that allows bonded materials to be easily separated without damage. This makes it significantly easier to reuse, reupholster, or recycle materials again and again.

Designed for repair, reuse, and circularity

More and more people want to fix what’s broken, rather than throw it away. Whether it’s restoring furniture, switching out materials, or updating a product for a new use, people want to do it in a way that respects the environment and saves money. This shift is backed by growing consumer demand for circularity, according to a 2024 Deloitte report, 56% of consumers have repaired a product rather than replacing it, reflecting a desire to extend product lifespans and reduce waste.

Circularity isn’t just a trend, it’s part of who we are. That’s why developing our Debonding on Demand technology and Kiilto Pro Debond adhesive was so important to us.

Easy separation with less damage

In furniture, the upholstery is often the first thing to wear out. With our technology, it can be replaced easily, without tearing apart the foam or structure underneath. In some cases, even the original fabric can be removed and reused elsewhere.

In construction, especially in bathrooms, removing tiles can cause a huge amount of unnecessary waste and emissions. With DoD, tiles can be attached, removed, and reused, without cracking or damage. Whether they’re outdated, broken, or simply the wrong colour, they can be easily removed and used again.

Breaking new ground in bonding technology

With decades of experience in industrial adhesives, Kiilto has developed a breakthrough formula that redefines how adhesives bond, and most importantly, debond.

Unlike conventional adhesives, Kiilto’s Debonding on Demand technology holds strong, until you decide it’s time to let go. Once a specific temperature is reached, the bond gradually releases, allowing materials to separate easily and safely. No sudden detachment. No damage.

Kiilto Pro Debond works with heat, making even tightly bonded components easy to disassemble, without compromising their integrity.

From proven to possible. What comes next is up to you.

Circularity doesn’t happen on its own. It takes action. With the right technology, we can reduce waste, recover materials, and rethink how things are made.

Kiilto’s Debonding on Demand technology is already delivering results in real-world applications, proving that reversible bonding is possible. But its potential goes far beyond what’s been done so far.
