Our research, development and innovation unit in Lempäälä is looking for an R&D Manager for the Construction business area

Our research, development and innovation unit in Lempäälä is looking for an

R&D MANAGER for the Construction business area.

 

You will be responsible for the development and quality of cement-based products in a multidisciplinary team of experts. You will work internationally in close collaboration with our other RDI units and stakeholders. You will manage and work with development projects on products and services. To thrive in this role, you will collaborate fluently in diverse business environments. In addition, you have talent and an interest in understanding cement chemistry. Basic understanding and experience in construction is an advantage. You will have a role as a manager for at least one employee.  

You will be able to influence the future of the Kiilto Construction business, making it more efficient and environmentally friendly. You will also participate in developing the whole value chain from raw materials to the end customer.

Background that makes the best fit for this job:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant field (mandatory requirement) 
  • Understanding of chemistry on a level that enables you to apply your knowhow into practice and to learn more  
  • Desire and interest in understanding phenomena and solving problems

  • Skills to focus on essential and to prioritise
