Kiiltomelt W 404 is a lightly filled hot melt adhesive for edge banding.
The adhesive is used for bonding veneer, melamine, and primed ABS and PVC edge banding.
Kiiltomelt W 404 forms a strong and elastic bond line with good heat resistance, and it does not string during processing.

The adhesive is melted in the melting tank.
The machine feed speed should be adjusted to a minimum of 10 m/min. If the feed speed is lower than recommended, the adhesive temperature at the application roller should be increased to prevent the adhesive from cooling too much before the pressing stage.
For longer production breaks, the adhesive temperature must be lowered, as otherwise the bonding properties and flow characteristics may deteriorate.
