Kiiltomelt W 403 is a hot melt adhesive suitable for veneering wood and wood‑based materials.
Kiiltomelt W 403 is also used for edge banding, and it performs well even in slow‑feed edgebanding machines. It is suitable for bonding melamine edge banding, PVC tape, ABS tape, PVC/ABS edges (primed), veneer strips, laminate, and solid wood edging.

Instructions for use

The adhesive is melted in the melting tank.
The machine feed speed should be adjusted to at least 15 m/min (veneering) or 2 m/min (curved panels). If the feed speed is lower than recommended, the temperature of the adhesive at the application roller should be increased to prevent the adhesive from cooling too much before the pressing stage.
For longer production breaks, the adhesive temperature must be lowered, as otherwise the bonding properties and flow characteristics may deteriorate
