Kiilto Vahvikekangas reinforcement fabric can be used for the entire waterproofed area between Kiilto one-component waterproofing membrane layers. Reinforcement fabric is suitable also for sealing corners, joints, angles and material junctions. Used with Kiilto one-component waterproofing membranes from the Kiilto waterproofing systems.

Walls:
If needed, sand and/or smooth uneven substrates with Kiilto cementitious wall plasters. Prime dry wall surface prior to waterproofing with compatible primer as per instructions. Apply Kiilto one-component waterproofing membrane on the wall area where reinforcement fabric will be placed. Press reinforcement fabric to fresh waterproofing membrane. Apply another coat of waterproofing membrane so that the fabric is wetted through and covered. Let the waterproofing membrane dry for at least 6 hours.
Floors:
If needed, sand and/or smooth uneven substrates with Kiilto levelling compound. Prime dry floor prior to waterproofing with a compatible primer as per instructions. Apply Kiilto one-component waterproofing membrane on the wall area where reinforcement fabric will be placed. Press reinforcement fabric to fresh waterproofing membrane. Apply another coat of waterproofing membrane so that the fabric is wetted through and covered. Let the waterproofing membrane dry for at least 6 hours.
