The familiar Kiilto Pro Green Textile is now Kiilto Pro Textile Wash. The product has been given a new name and an updated formula. Note that 4 kg and 8 kg packaging sizes also have a new product code.
Kiilto Pro Textile Wash is an effective textile washing powder. It can be used for washing coloured and microfibre textiles.

In professional textile care, maintaining fabric quality while ensuring effective dirt removal is essential, especially for cleaning textiles like microfiber cloths. Kiilto Pro Textile Wash provides powerful yet gentle washing performance, efficiently removing dirt from different textiles.
Kiilto Pro Textile Wash contains an innovative lignin biopolymer. This multifunctional biopolymer allows for the replacement of traditional fossil dispersant polymers without compromising the washing result. Sourced from wood industry side streams, lignin has a significantly reduced carbon footprint compared to traditional fossil polymers. Using a biobased alternative instead of fossil materials helps in solving various environmental challenges.
Kiilto Pro Textile Wash also contains selected washing powder compounds that ensure effective cleaning at all water temperatures. It rinses easily from textiles, leaving them fresh and free of deposits. The product includes colour protection that keeps the colours of textiles bright and prevents colour transfer between fabrics during washing. The detergent also prevents fuzzing and greying of both natural and synthetic fibres.
The detergent does not contain any dyes, brighteners, perfumes, preservatives or bleaching agents, making it safe to use for most textiles that can withstand machine washing. Kiilto Pro Textile Wash is also free of phosphorus, allowing it to meet even more stringent environmental criteria than those set by Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
In addition, Kiilto Pro Textile Wash contains a wide combination of enzymes ready to break down different food stains from protein and starch to mannans and fruit stains. This makes the detergent an optimal choice for washing kitchen workwear.

Must be stored closed and in a dry place. Effective shelf life is 5 years from manufacturing when stored properly.
Follow the washing instructions on the textiles. Sort the laundry by colour, fibre and type of dirt. Wash new coloured textiles separately. Always wash dark textiles separately from the light. For sensitive materials such as wool and silk, we recommend liquid Kiilto Pro Sensitive Wash detergent.
Dose Kiilto Pro Textile Wash according to water hardness, either into the dispenser drawer or with a dosing ball. For a pre-wash cycle, add detergent to the detergent compartment. Adjust the amount based on the laundry's level of soiling and the water hardness. Refer to the dosing table below for guidance.
When washing cleaning textiles, use only half of the recommended amount of washing powder.

The concentrated formula reduces environmental impact by minimizing packaging material and energy consumption. The packaging can be recycled. Robust plastic pails can also be reused when refilled. Consider 20 kg paper bag as a refill of the 8 kg plastic pail to save up to approximately 75 % of package material usage for each kilogram of the product.
Kiilto Pro Textile Wash is Nordic Swan labelled. Nordic Swan Ecolabelled products meet strict environmental requirements based on a life-cycle approach. This considers factors such as the origin of raw-materials, energy consumption during production and use, as well as the waste generation throughout the entire production and consumption chain. It also means that Kiilto Pro Textile fulfils strict demands for biodegradability.
We have received the Nordic Swan Ecolabel for the smaller package sizes, but not for the 20 kg packaging size. Nordic Swan Ecolabel criteria "Laundry detergents for professional use v. 4.1" doesn't currently have paper bag included in the criteria as paper-based package. We’re working on improvements for the packaging. The product itself is exactly the same across all package sizes.
The Allergy label, granted for Kiilto Pro Textile Wash by the Finnish Allergy, Skin and Asthma Federation, indicates that the product doesn’t contain fragrances or commonly sensitizing or irritating substances.
Kiilto Pro Textile Wash also has the Key Flag Symbol. It is a registered mark demonstrating that the product has been manufactured in Finland.
Lastly, Kiilto Pro Textile Wash contains no animal-derived ingredients and has not been tested on animals.
Amount of washes per packaging size:
4 kg: 98 washes in soft water or 80 washes in medium hard water
8 kg: 197 washes in soft water or 161 washes in medium hard water
20 kg: 493 washes in soft water or 404 washes in medium hard water
The number of washes is based on the dosage for a standard machine load (4,5 kg of dry fabric) according to the Detergent Regulation.
