Separation membrane for floating floor structures (weight 120 g/m2). The overlap taping on both long sides of the cloth also allows for lifting and removes the need for a separate edge strip.
The water-repellent surface of the separation membrane helps to create a floating screed over potentially weak or leaking substrates.
The water vapour permeability of the separation membrane also allows the screed layer to dry downwards.
Suitable for use under all Kiilto floor levelling compounds and floor screeds that allows a floating structure . The installation surface of the separation membrane must be sufficiently strong and non-compressible. No sharp points may remain on the substrate that could break the membrane.

Spread the separation membrane onto the floor with a min. 50 mm overlap. At the edges of the work area, upliftings should be a minimum of the thickness of the floor levelling compound. Pipes and other inlets must be separated from the levelling compound layer with, for example, a Kiilto Erotuskaista edge strip.
