Materials
Kestopur 1 C 30 is a moisture curing, one-component, polyurethane adhesive with low viscosity. Strong foam building. Suitable, for example, for the gluing of wood, metal, insulation materials and fibreglass laminate. Preliminary adhesion tests must be carried out prior to full scale application. Due to low viscosity Kestopur 1 C 30 is ideal for automatic application. Note that a small amount of gas builds in the curing reaction, so ensure that one of the surfaces to be bonded is permeable. Does not contain solvents. Adhesive is compliant with the M1 Emission Classification for Building Materials.

The surfaces to be bonded must be clean and dry. Remove dust, dirt, oxides, grease, etc. with Kiilto Cleaner 303 and/or by sanding. The properly cleaned surface can be sanded to improve adhesion. Remove the sanding dust carefully prior to adhesive application. Apply the adhesive in an even layer on one of the surfaces. Water sprayed (5–10 g/m 2 ) on the adhesive layer shortens the pressing time. Remove fresh adhesive stains with a dry cloth and clean the surfaces with acetone or xylene. Hardened adhesive can only be removed by mechanical means. We recommend using adhesive at room temperature. However, the gluing can be carried out at lower temperatures (even at +5–10°C), but then the curing time will be much longer.
Avoid unnecessary skin contact with and exposure to the fresh product: use safety gloves. Refer to material safety data sheet. For information on product and package disposal, visit www.kiilto.com.
