Head of Marketing, Construction and Industrial Adhesives & Fireproofing
The position
As Head of Marketing, you will lead Kiilto’s international B2B marketing and brand, Kiilto Pro, in the Construction and Industrial Adhesives & Fireproofing business areas. Kiilto has an ambitious international growth strategy, and you will play a key role in driving our business success through creation and execution of customer-centred marketing strategy with key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for international marketing processes and customer communications.
In this new role you will lead Kiilto Group’s marketing to the next level. You need to have a clear view of what must to be done to reach the company’s strategic targets and stay abreast of current market conditions, competitors and B2B trends. We, as Kiiltonians, are on a journey of growth and change, aiming to internationalise our business operations. You will be in a key position to lead this change by creating transparent international marketing processes and related working practices to ensure seamless collaboration with the business areas and all the countries Kiilto operates in. In addition, you will lead Kiilto Group’s marketing team in Finland as well as coordinate the operations of our international marketing community (a total of 20 persons in nine countries). Together, you will develop marketing assets that support our solution portfolio and help the sales team to function effectively.
You will coach your team members to enable them to develop alongside our business growth. You will be a member of Kiilto’s leadership teams in the Construction and Industrial Adhesives & Fireproofing business areas. Together with the leadership team members you will ensure that the marketing activities meet the needs of the businesses. You will report to the Managing Director of Kiilto Group, and on daily basis you will work closely with Business Area Directors, Kiilto Group’s sales organisations, RDI-operations, solution management teams as well as external partners, such as marketing, communication and design agencies. The preferred location for the position is the Tampere, Turku or Helsinki region, but you must be able and willing to travel.
Ideal background for the position:
- A master’s degree in marketing or another applicable field.
- Experience in leading successful strategic and tactical B2B marketing in international business environments.
- Proven leadership skill and experience of leading and developing international teams
- Comprehensive understanding of different channel, content and other relevant marketing strategies in order to define an overall marketing strategy that delivers the right marketing mix for our story and offering.
- Experience and comprehensive understanding of the various components of digital marketing (website, SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media marketing, online advertising, analytics and reporting).
- Experience of working in projects, and ideally also experience of project management
- Excellent communication skills as well as a positive, can-do attitude.
- An inclusive, service-oriented and innovative working style based on excellent interpersonal skills.
- A mindset oriented towards continuous development.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Finnish. Other languages (particularly Russian and Swedish) are considered an asset
