Technology and Infrastructure Architect
As a Technology and Infrastructure Architect, you will lead the design of secure, scalable IT infrastructure across our international operations. This new role focuses on enterprise infrastructure and networking, with opportunities to grow into cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and IT/OT integration. As a member of the Business Technology Office team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business operations, IT, and security operations, to ensure seamless implementation of architectural designs. You will report to the CIO and your main location can be in Lempäälä, Helsinki, or Turku. Kiilto offers a flexible hybrid work model. A permanent work permit in Finland is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise infrastructure and network architecture.
- Support hybrid cloud integration (e.g., Azure) and future cloud strategy.
- Embed security into infrastructure design and risk management.
- Contribute to IT/OT integration in industrial environments.
- Collaborate across teams within our four business areas to align technology with business needs.
- Stay current on emerging infrastructure and security technologies.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Fluent in the English language, both verbally and in writing. Finnish is considered an asset.
- Experience:
- 4+ years in IT infrastructure or architecture roles.
- Designing secure solutions for cloud services (Azure).
- IT/OT integration and, optionally, industrial control systems (ICS).
- Enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, etc.) and cyber defense concepts.
- Security operations, monitoring tools, and major incident response.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, IASA, TOGAF, Azure Architect, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and IT/OT environments.
- Experience working with industrial control systems, IoT, and/or critical infrastructure security.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (GDPR, NIS2, etc.).
- Track record of leading strategic technology and security initiatives.
