Procurement Specialist to join our team in Lempäälä.

This position is temporary, from October 2025 until the end of March 2026. 

Kiilto manufactures chemical solutions for construction, industry and fireproofing in our factories in Finland and Sweden. Our purchasing team works in close cooperation with fellow Kiiltonians from different countries, and with suppliers and partners from different countries.  As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for both operational purchasing tasks and strategic procurement initiatives, with a focus on raw materials, packaging, and logistics. The content of the position may be tailored to align with the competencies of the chosen candidate. You will report to the Head of Purchasing and Logistics. You will be based in Lempäälä, but in line with our flexible hybrid working model, a certain amount of remote working is also possible. You must have a permanent work permit in Finland.

Your main responsibilities in this position will be:

  • Manage day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure quality, availability, and sustainability of materials.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimise supplier performance and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Support logistics planning and coordination to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

  • Experience in procurement and supply chains — whether you're early in your career or more seasoned, we’ll tailor the role to match your background. Experience in the area of packaging materials or logistics is a plus
  • Experience in procurement-related contracting
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • A proactive mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in sustainability work and requirements in procurement
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and tools is a plus
  • Fluency in English and a working knowledge of Finnish
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as economics, business administration or engineering
