Our Industrial Adhesives and Fireproofing business area is looking for a 

SOLUTIONS MANAGER for the paper and packaging industry segment

 

As a Solutions Manager, you will support business and solutions development for the respective customer segment to create the optimal mix of products and services for our customers, based on their real needs and business requirements. You will be the product owner for the portfolio in your own customer segment and manage and develop the product portfolio in close collaboration with our internal stakeholders.

In your role you convey the technical and commercial expertise of the segment, whether it is updating our business strategy, supporting R&D in new product development or contributing to customer visits or trials. You act as an important liaison between Sales, Marketing and R&D to ensure cohesive understanding of the customer needs and translating them into successful product and service solutions. 

With the entire unit, you will also be a key contributor to Kiilto’s ambitious targets of growth and environmental leadership. You will report to the Business Area Director of Industrial Adhesives and Fireproofing business area. The preferred location for this position is the Tampere region, but you must be willing and able to travel.  

 

Background that would be the best fit for this job:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree of engineering in the applicable field
  • Demonstrated practical experience from a relevant position in an industrial business environment and knowledge of target segment processes and technologies
  • Experience in working in an international environment
  • Project management skills
  • Good understanding of business strategies and the concept of value-based selling
  • Good analytical skills
  • Mastering of common IT tools: MS Dynamics, MS Office, ERP
  • Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English; other languages are considered an asset (Russian, Swedish or German)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Experience of industrial bonding applications would be an advantage
