Kiilto has been providing the Polish market with adhesives for floor coverings and floor screeds for more than twenty years. Now, Kiilto is seeing a growing popularity for its waterproofing systems for bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, saunas and terraces among its Polish customers, including UNIHOUSE SA.
UNIHOUSE SA is one of the largest companies in modular construction on the European market. Presently, the company’s key market is Norway. Buildings manufactured by the Polish factory in Bielsk Podlaski can also be found in Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Poland. UNIHOUSE’s focus on ecology, environmental protection and meeting technical approvals issued by the Norwegian Building Research Institute (SINTEF) prompted the company to use Kiilto products.
Shared environmental values and high product standards unite UNIHOUSE and Kiilto Pro
Kiilto Pro construction products stand for efficiency, functionality and environmental responsibility, and are M1-classified — meaning volatile organise compound (VOC) emissions are minimal.
‘’Fast-drying and dust-free products, as well as low VOC content are really important for our employees when installing waterproofing’’, states Henryk Galicki, Senior Technologist at UNIHOUSE SA, UNIBEP Group, Poland. The European modular construction pioneer holds itself to high environmental standards, using environmentally friendly materials and meeting market standards and requirements.
‘’Our factory uses Kiilto products such as Kestonit Termo fibre-reinforced levelling compound, Keraprimer primer, Kerasafe + waterproofing foil and accessories, Kiilto Lightfix and Kiilto Flexfix tile adhesives and grouting mortars. We also use fast drying Kiilto Kerasafe Speed A+X adhesive to secure foil, corners and all gaskets, such as water inlets and insulation for wet rooms.’’, adds Galicki.
Aside from bathroom area products, UNIHOUSE also uses KESTOKOL D 300 glue in ceiling panels.
‘’Our cooperation with Kiilto has been very positive. We are pleased with logistics: deliveries are always on time and products live up to high-quality standards’’, says Galicki.
