Kiilto F
Kiilto F is a one-component, silyl modified, adhesive sealant for the gluing and sealing of metal, fibreglass and different types of plastics in the boat and transport industries.

Ideal for the bonding and sealing of fibreglass and metals in structural gluing applications when fast curing and high bond strength is needed. Suitable also for the gluing of, for example, side glasses in vehicle industry applications. Complies with the M1 Emission Classification for Building Materials. Elastic, yet a mechanically strong bond. High viscosity, fast bonding. Almost odourless. Almost non-shrinking. Paintable with water-based latex and solvent-based paints.

Materials to be glued must be dust-free, dry and free from grease and oil. When gluing large area surfaces or in very dry conditions, we suggest light spraying with water (approx. 5–10 g/m 2 ). We recommend cleaning surfaces with Kiilto Cleaner 303 and priming with Kiiltoflex Metalliprimer. Uncured adhesive can be removed with xylene or acetone, cured adhesive only by mechanical means.
Gluing of glass: Ensure that the glass has black ceramic coating on the areas where the adhesive will be spread. Remove grease and oil from the surfaces to be bonded with Kiilto Cleaner 303. Prime both surfaces with Kiilto Metalliprimer and let dry for at least 10–15 minutes. Apply Kiilto F on the black ceramic coating and press the glass onto the body carefully within the adhesive's open time. Use suitable spacers to get a 3–5 mm wide seam.
