Instructions for use

The subfloor must be dry, solid, even and clean. To level out rough and uneven surfaces, use appropriate Kiilto floor levelling compound. As a substrate you can also use a special felt designed to be used underneath the flooring to be glued. Take into account also the installation instructions given by the felt underlay manufacturer. Textile coatings are installed by using the wet bonding -method. Stir the adhesive before use, if needed, and apply in an even coat onto the surface using a fine notched trowel. If the substrate is non-absorbent, ensure that the flooring lets damp through. Compatible with underfloor heating. Follow also the flooring manufacturer’s installation instructions.

When gluing textile coatings, the amount of adhesive used affects the final bond strength. When gluing coatings that are to be effortlessly replaceable in the future, the amount of adhesive used must be tested case-by-case prior to installing.
