The surfaces to be plastered must be solid, clean and free from dust. Weak and loose particles must be removed carefully. Indoors, dry porous surfaces should be wetted with water before plastering or treated with a mixture (1:4) of water and Kiilto Pro Start Primer or Kiilto PrimerOne.
Strew Kiilto SR DF powder slowly in cool (+18–20 °C), clean water constantly stirring until a smooth, even mass is formed. Let the mix mature for approx. 2-3 min and then remix once again. The plaster is applied by hand with a steel trowel. Surface can be after-treated by moisturizing with water spray.
Carry out plastering at the normal room temperature. Prevailing conditions, such as temperature of the room, plaster and water, substrate quality and humidity and relative humidity affect significantly the setting and drying time. Our recommendations can therefore be used as a guideline only.
