Materials

Application

A very fast bonding elastic adhesive sealant. Bond strength develops much faster than with typical 1-component adhesive sealants. Fast strength development requires that air humidity penetrates to the bond through e.g. porous materials such as wood, concrete, levelling compound, unglazed ceramics etc. or the bond is moistened with water.
Ideal for e.g. mounting toilet seats and gluing light partition wall frames to the surrounding concrete structures. Can be used as an acoustic sealant e.g. in light partition wall inlets. Sound insulation measurements were carried out according to ISO 10140 - 2:2010. For indoor and outdoor use. Kiilto Pro Speed has good adhesion on various stone surfaces, concrete, most metals, wood, glass and glazed surfaces as well as epoxy and polyester surfaces. With plastic and rubber, preliminary adhesive tests are recommended prior to actual use. Excellent adhesion to different materials - in most cases no need for priming. Elastic, yet mechanically strong bond. Does not contain isocyanate, PVC or solvents. Almost odourless. Good resistance against chemicals (weak solutions). Excellent resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation. Almost non-shrinking. Paintable with most paints (test always before use).

Instructions for use

Place the cartridge in the application gun and insert the extruder tip. Cut and shape the tip of the nozzle to the appropriate size and form. Apply with a hand or compressed air pistol and smooth with a trowel, if needed.
When gluing wooden and metal frames, see that the surfaces and materials are straight, clean and strong. Apply adhesive sufficiently to ensure a strong bond.
When mounting a toilet seat with a thin layer of adhesive, the bond strength can be achieved in up to 15 minutes. Drying can be accelerated with a thin layer of water spray.
When used as an acoustic sealant, the surface can be finished while fresh with a moistened tool.
When gluing large uniform surfaces or surfaces in very dry conditions, we suggest light spraying with water (approx. 5–10 g/m²). Close the package carefully after use. Uncured adhesive can be removed with xylene or acetone, cured adhesive only mechanically.
