A water-based, diffusion-open surface treatment agent for floors levelled with a suitable levelling compound. The product protects the substrate from wear and tear, and makes it easier to clean. 704 BSP is suitable for the surface treatment of new floors, or maintenance treatment of previously untreated levelling compound or concrete floors. The product is also suitable for the treatment of cement-based levelling screeds if the levelled surface will remain uncoated for a long time.
Once the surface treatment agent has dried, the substrate can withstand direct, light mechanical stress, such as walking or light traffic with pneumatic tyres, but not studded tyres. The product has good chemical resistance, but is not intended for continuous exposure to water or chemical substances.

The temperature of the agent, substrate and room should be +10...+20 °C when applying the product, but no more than +25 °C. 704 BSP can be applied on levelling compound no earlier than 24 hours after the compound’s application. Cement laitance must be removed from the concrete surface to ensure the absorption of the product. The dilution ratio of 704 BSP is 1:2 (1 part 704 BSP to + 2 parts clean water).
Apply the diluted product to the substrate with a brush. When applied with a sprayer, brush the product on the surface after spraying. Make sure that the levelled surface gets saturated with the product. Remove any excess product with a squeegee or other suitable tool.
Please note that certain types of rubber materials can cause surface discoloration. Test on a small area that the tool is suitable for the job. Drying should not be artificially accelerated by underfloor heating or a strong airflow.
The surface can be walked on about 30 minutes after the treatment. The final chemical and mechanical wear resistance will be achieved in about 3 days, depending on the surface temperature.
