Kiilto Pro Primer 001
A primer to improve adhesion between the screed and the substrate. Used in conjunction with Kiilto Express K, Multi, Rotavjämning K or Industri K pumpable screeds.

A water-based primer for porous and non-absorbent floors indoors prior to levelling with Kiilto Express K, Kiilto Multi, Kiilto Rotavjämning K and Kiilto Industri K screeds.

1L primer covers approx. 5-10 m² , depending on the diluting ratio and the substrate.

In unopened containers, above +1 °C, for 1 year.
Remove cement laitance, dust, loose dirt and grease from the substrate. Carry out mechanical sanding or grinding, if necessary. Apply a thin, even coat of primer to the floor with a soft brush/roller and make sure no ponds are formed. Apply primer 1-48 hours before spreading the screed. Allow to dry well before screed. However, do not let the primer dry for more than 72 hours, since the construction dust and other impurities may adhere to the primer coat and impair the adhesion of the screed. Note! If Kiilto Primer 001 is applied on large surfaces with a so-called primer pump, the primer should always be brushed/rolled immediately afterwards to ensure a good finish.
