Alkali-resistant fibreglass mesh for reinforcing floor constructions. Can be used either with manually applied or pumpable floor levelling compounds. Mesh size 9 x 9 mm.

Materials

Application

Polymer-coated, alkali-resistant fibreglass mesh for reinforcing floor constructions. Like a reinforcement mesh, fibreglass mesh minimises the risk of cracking in floors. Fibreglass mesh is ideal, especially for floating floor constructions (the floor construction is not fastened to the substrate), low strength subfloors and heated floors.
Subfloor must be sufficiently solid and sound. All impurities (dust, laitance, paint splashes, etc.) must be removed before priming (Kiilto Start Primer) and application of the mesh and levelling compound.
In floating constructions the floor should be detached from the substrate and other constructions with an appropriate separator cloth.

Instructions for use

Lay the mesh on the floor with min. 50 mm laps. Lay the sheets on the floor so that the ends do not curl upwards. See that the mesh is embedded in the compound and does not rise up to the surface.
