Materials
A sprayable and rollable, very elastic, ready to use sealant against air leakages. For interior use. Tested and approved for the prevention of radon diffusion. Excellent adhesion to various types of substrates. Easy to apply. Suitable for walls, floors and ceilings. Can be used to bind mineral wool fibres. If the asbestos cannot be removed and the material containing asbestos is in good condition, it can be coated with Kiilto Airblock Coat. We suggest marking materials containing asbestos in the drawings. Kiilto Airblock Coat is suitable for unheated interior areas.

Remove all impurities that might impair adhesion, including loose particles, dust, dirt and salt deposit. Fill in dents and holes beforehand. Porous substrates can be primed with diluted (1:1) Kiilto Keraprimer, if necessary.
Stir Kiilto Airblock Coat before use. Apply at least two even coats of Airblock Coat. The second coat can be applied right after the first one (wet on wet). Follow the instructions on the required amount and consumption. Drying time depends on the prevailing conditions and the thickness of the applied coat. We recommend that the surface is coated (e.g. paint). If left uncoated, the product’s resistance to mechanical wear and UV light is limited.
Kiilto Airblock Coat can be used with Kiilto Butyylinauha tape or Kiilto KeraSafe Saumanauha sealing tape, if needed.
Tools: a roller or sprayer
Sprayer specifications: a piston pump or membrane pump, suitable for normal latex, spray nozzle size 0,017" - 0,019”, pressure 160–180 bar. Use personal protective equipment during spraying.
