Absorbent substrate 15–20 min., painted surface max. 20 min. Note. Wet bonding! The amount of adhesive used, the substrate and prevailing conditions will all affect the working time considerably.

Instructions for use

The surface must be dry, free from dust, clean, firm and even. Sand and wash painted surfaces with sodium and rinse carefully. Use damp-proof plaster for smoothing. If the surface is porous, first apply Kiilto 1 Seinäliima thinned with water. When working with fibreboard, apply the adhesive on wire surface.

Vinyl, grass and reed wallpapers with paper backing: Apply the adhesive to the back of the wallpaper using a paint roller, fold the lengths double and let the adhesive permeate for a few minutes. Hang the wallpaper to butt joint in the usual manner. Use Kiilto Boordiliima adhesive for possible lap joints.

Hessian and glass fibre woven fabrics, textile wallpapers, vinyl wallpapers with polyester and glass fibre backing: Apply the adhesive with a paint roller or trowel either to the wall to an area of 1–3 hides at a time, or to the back of the covering. Use the wet bonding method. Place the hides either to the butt joint or make the joint after attaching the hides to the wall using a knife. When hanging textile wallpaper with paper backing, in which the surface pattern is formed by parallel yarns, the adhesive must be applied to the wallpaper. Woven fabrics can be painted not less than 24 hours after hanging.

Remove fresh adhesive stains with a damp cloth or sponge and wash the equipment in lukewarm water.

When hanging wallpapers in which the textile surface pattern is formed by parallel yarns, the adhesive must be applied to the back of the wallpaper.
When hanging wallpapers in which the textile surface pattern is formed by cross yarns, the adhesive can be applied either to the wall or to the back of the wallpaper.
