Adhesive’s drying temperature: max. 285 C Hot air temperature for adhesive activation: 250–400 C 250 – 400 °C
In unopened containers, above +1 °C, for 12 months. After long storing, stir before use.
Apply the adhesive to the board edge where the banding is to be bonded. Evaporate most of the dispersion water by hot-air gun. The drying time, temperature and blow capacity depend on the application amount, adhesive and the temperature of the bonded parts. Dried adhesive films, in which some moisture should remain, are activated by heat and the edge banding is immediately pressed to the edge. After pressing the bond strength is sufficient enough for cutting off the extra width of the banding. Final bond strength is reached within a few hours. Boards with edge banding should be stored for at least 30 min. before further machining. The heating and feed speed is adjusted so that the adhesive is activated on the whole surface of the edge banding and the board edge. Bonding that is carefully carried out has a good after-heat resistance.
