As our current CPO is leaving for another position outside the Group, we are looking for a modern HR person with a growth-driven and future-oriented mindset for the role of

CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER

 

The main purpose of this role, and the People Operations function in general, is to help leaders of Kiilto Family Group generate more value with their people in the 11 countries we operate in. This will be performed by organising, providing and developing smooth HR services, by participating in the decision-making processes and teams of the Group and by influencing the transformation process of the companies. This will take place in accordance with the Kiilto business’ strategies 2025 and Kiilto’s unique Vision 2080. The efforts are based on Kiilto’s cultural cornerstones, and high standards on ethics and aim for environmental leadership.

The CPO is responsible for the strategic people operations framework, processes and strategic well-being at work. The position includes leading the multinational people operations team of some ten HR professionals.

The CPO operates as a first-hand contact in all people topics for the Group Managing Directors as well as for the Group CFO to whom he/she also reports. The CPO will be part of Management Teams of the Group companies. We expect the CPO to be permanently located either in the Turku or Tampere region, but the work also requires an ability and willingness to travel.  

 

Ideal background for this job includes:

  • A proven track record in building strong professional relationships and credibility across all levels of an organisation
  • A proven track record of participating in designing and implementing business strategies
  • Excellent skills in promoting the company culture and occupational well-being
  • Strong international experience of working in a strategic HR role
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant subject
  • A proven track record of successfully facilitating strategic transformation (e.g. M&As)
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, coaching and communication skills
  • Fluent communication in English; other languages (e.g. Finnish, Swedish or Russian) are considered an asset
