KiiltoClean A/S has closed the divestment of the Workplace Safety business to Lifco's subsidiary Plum Safety Aps on 3 February 2020. The business is a leading niche manufacturer of eyewash, plasters and first aid stations used in many different industries. The eyewash products are marketed and sold under the brand name Plum.
In 2019, Workplace Safety business reported net sales of approximately 79 MDKK. The operation is based in Assens, Denmark and Cuxhaven, Germany and has 10 employees. The business will be consolidated in Lifco’s Business Area Dental.
KiiltoClean A/S and Plum Safety Aps work as business partners after the divestment selling each other’s products. KiiltoClean A/S will continue as exclusive distributor of the Safety products in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Plum Safety Aps will continue to sell the Safety and Hygiene products globally.
