Impact of coronavirus on construction and industrial bonding solutions businesses

Kiilto's production of building supplies and industrial adhesives and flame retardants is operating normally and product inventories have been raised to a higher level than usual, so that we can continue to ensure product availability in the current, exceptional circumstances. Sales and technical support are mainly serving our customers by telephone, email or other means of remote communication.

Kiilto has established a working group which is actively monitoring the progress of the coronavirus and the related guidelines, and directing preparedness measures within the Group.


For our order centre to function normally, we would ask our customers to send orders in writing to for the time being. Because we are receiving a large number of orders at the moment, if possible please combine any small individual orders into a single order for all product groups. This will help us to reduce the turnaround time for orders.  

Pickups of products by customers

Please follow the guidelines issued at our locations carefully! The guidelines are intended to ensure the occupational safety of our staff and minimise infection risks. Orders for products picked up by customers must reach Kiilto at least one hour before pick-up, so that we have time to process them smoothly. Because, in the current exceptional situation, customers cannot wait on orders to be processed and collected at our premises, a pre-delivered order will ease the process for all parties.

Events and training

Events and training for customers have been cancelled for the time being to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. We are handling visits and training remotely. As a precautionary measure, we will not hold international meetings, training or other events involving more than 10 people, and will not participate in meetings, events, trade fairs or training organised by other parties and involving more than 10 participants.

If your wet room certification is about to expire, Eurofins Expert Services states that you can report your registration for Kiilto training on the website When reporting this, you should mention that the training has been postponed due to the coronavirus. Unfortunately, at the moment we cannot predict when our training will continue, but we will provide information on any changes in the situation as soon as they occur.
