Kiilto X100 is a fast curing, elastic adhesive sealant based on silyl polymer technology. Typical applications involve the sealing of ventilation duct constructions. One component. High elastic recovery. Good shape retention. High sealing performance. Fast bonding. Does not contain PVC or solvents. Almost odourless. Good resistance against chemicals (weak solutions). Almost non-shrinking. Paintable with most paints (test always before use). Excellent adhesion to different materials (test before use).

Instructions for use

Used at +1–40 °C. Prevailing conditions such as ambient temperature, the substrate's temperature, quality, moisture, as well as the amount of adhesive applied, have a strong impact on the skin time and on drying. Therefore, the given values are for guidance only. Materials to be glued must be dust-free, dry and free from grease and oil. To get the best adhesion result, clean metal surfaces with Kiilto Cleaner 303 and then prime with Kiiltoflex Metalliprimer. When gluing large areas or surfaces in very dry conditions, we suggest light spraying with water (approx. 5–10 g/m 2 ). Close the package carefully after use. Uncured product can be removed with Kiilto Cleaner 303 or acetone. Cured product can only be removed by mechanical means.
