Instructions for use

The surfaces to be plastered must be clean, dry and free from dust. A new coat should not be applied until the previous one is dry. If needed, the surface should be carefully sanded and cleaned before applying a new plaster coat.

Kiilto R is a ready-mixed plaster. After long storing, stir before use. The product can be diluted with water, if needed. Apply the plaster with a long haired roller on the wall and then smooth with a steel trowel. When installing a reinforcement tape, first apply plaster into the joint with a roller. Then smooth the plaster with a steel trowel, and press paper reinforcing tape carefully onto the fresh plaster. Apply a second plaster layer over the tape and smooth by using a broader steel trowel. After drying the surface can be easily sanded.
