Clean the surfaces to be bonded so that they are free from dirt, rust, oil, mould stripping agents etc. with a cloth moistened with acetone. Depending on the case, the surfaces can be roughened with a fine sandpaper before cleaning with solvent. Gently moisten porous surfaces such as porcelain and wood before gluing.
Unscrew the cap and nozzle of the tube. Puncture the film of the tube by pressing it with a pointed end on top of the tube. Re-screw the nozzle firmly. Apply a thin adhesive coat on one of the pieces and use the other piece for gently spreading the glue. Assemble immediately and press firmly together with fingers. Normally 5–30 sec pressing is enough, and the joined piece can be moved and processed further. Do not move the bond, until it has cured. Thin glue layer cures fastest and gives the maximum bond strength. Uncured glue can be removed with acetone. Cured glue can be softened with acetone, but removed only by mechanical means.
