Xylene is used for the removal of dispersion adhesive stains from, for example, PVC, laminate and tile surfaces. Suitable also for the thinning of xylene-based alkyd and epoxy paints and varnishes as well as for tool cleaning (see the paint’s or lacquer’s instructions).

Removal of adhesive stains: moisten a cloth or paper towel with xylene and wipe off the stain. Thinning of paint: Gradually admix xylene with the paint in small amounts. Follow the paint manufacturer's detailed instructions on thinning.
