Kestopur PL 101/20
Kestopur PL 101/20 is a 1-component polyurethane adhesive for gluing of metal and insulation materials in sandwich panel constructions in the shipping industry.
Kestopur PL 101/20 is a fast-curing, fire classified moisture curing one-component polyurethane adhesive. Moisture-curing. Builds a small amount of foam while curing. Kestopur PL 101/20 is used for gluing of e.g. wood, steel, aluminium, various insulation materials and plastics. Kestopur PL adhesives are fire classified according to IMO FTPC (IMO resolution MSC.61(67) Part 5) and have a MED certificate (Wheel-mark).

Unopened at +10–25 °C for 12 months. Note! During summer months, when the weather is warmer and air humidity higher, the shelf-life can be significantly shorter (even as short as 1–1.5 months).
The surfaces to be bonded must be clean and dry. Remove oxidations, grease and other impurities by solvent or by sanding, depending on the case. Apply the adhesive in an even layer on one of the surfaces. Thin water layer sprayed on the adhesive layer shortens the pressing time. Remove fresh adhesive stains with a dry cloth and clean the surfaces with acetone or xylene. Cured adhesive can be removed only by mechanical means. We recommend using adhesive at room temperature. However, the gluing can be carried out at lower temperatures (even at +5–10°C), but then the curing time will be much longer.
