To activate the adhesive film the temperature of at least +70°C is needed.
Adhesive joint heat resistance 80-90°C
In room temperature 30-60 min
In unopened containers at +20 °C for 6 months.
Stir properly before use. The surfaces to be glued should be free from dust, grease etc. Apply an even uniform coat of the adhesive onto the board blanks with an air-assisted airless spray gun (Airmix®) or a high-pressure spray gun. Leave the adhesive dry until transparent. After the drying time, the coating foil is preheated and drawn and/or pressed onto the board blank using a deep drawing or membrane press. When the thermal activation is sufficient, the after-heat resistance of the adhesive joint (PVC/MDF) will be high, approx. 80–90°C. When gluing, follow the instructions provided by the foil and machinery manufacturers.
