EN-tested disinfectants for surface disinfection and removal of secretions

Disinfecting a secretion stain

Surface disinfection eliminates the spread of nosocomial pathogens. Our products have high microbicidal efficacy and they meet the required EN standards as well as regulatory requirements set for patient and environmental safety, such as MDR (Medical Device Regulation) or BPR (Biocidal Products Regulation).

Secretion stains cause a risk of infection which is why they need to be removed immediately. Cut off all channels of infection and remember safety!

One-step method

  1. Wear disposable gloves.
  2. Pour disinfectant on the secretion stain, making sure to use enough to cover it completely.
  3. Wipe the area clean with a disposable/paper towel and place the used towel in a bin bag.
  4. Remove the gloves and place them in a bin bag. Disinfect your hands.

Two-step method

  1. Use disposable gloves with a single-hand technique.
  2. Absorb the secretion into a disposable/paper towel.
  3. Place the used towel and the glove in a bin bag.
  4. Use a new disposable glove.
  5. Dampen a clean disposable/paper towel with the disinfectant and wipe the stained area clean or use the One System Basic pretreated towel.
  6. Place the used towel and the glove in a bin bag.
  7. Disinfect your hands with Erisan Antiseptic Hand Rub or Käsidesi hand rub.
