Instructions for use

The surfaces to be repaired or plastered must be clean, dry and free from dust. Dry and absorbent surfaces are moistened before applying the product (excl. building boards). Painted surfaces and vinyl coatings are roughened with sandpaper and the sanding dust is removed. Plastering is done with a putty knife.

Kiilto Pro Repairfix is strewed slowly in cool, clean water (+18–20 °C) by mixing continously, until an even mass is formed. Let the mix set for 10–15 minutes and mix vigorously once again.

Then apply the adhesive to the surface to be tiled by pressing firmly and comb with a notched applicator an area that can be tiled within 15 minutes. Press the tiles firmly on the surface and tap into position immediately. Tiles' position can be adjusted for 15–20 minutes. It is recommended to randomly lift tiles during the application to ensure sufficient coverage of tile backs (glazed tiles 70-75 % and clinker 80-90 %). To make sure you get adequate coverage under tiles, the trowel should be chosen according to the tile size and the tiling surface. The fix residues are freshly removed with water and a damp cloth. Tiles can be grouted after 48 h after tiling.
