Instructions for use

Suitable substrates are concrete, masonry and smoothed surface as well as cement-based board or gypsum board. The surface must be dry, firm and free from dust as well as stable (correct skeletal structures). The ceramic tiles can also be glued onto old tile surfaces or hard plastic covering: in this case, allow the adhesive to dry for 5–7 days after tiling before starting the grouting work. The old tile surface and plastic covering must be washed with Kiilto Laattapesu. The plastic covering must also be roughened to ensure adhesion.

Apply the adhesive to the surface using a smooth trowel and smooth down with a notched trowel. Press the tiles onto the surface without delay. The minimum joint width is 2 mm. The position of the tile and the sheet can be adjusted within 15 minutes of the installation. Grouting can be done 24 hours after gluing at the earliest. If the substrate is non-absorbent, grouting can be done not earlier than 5–7 days after gluing. Do not try to accelerate the drying via artificial means.
