Instructions for use

The substrate must be dry, solid, smooth and free from dust and grease. We recommend smoothing the concrete substrate with a suitable Kiilto low-alkali levelling compound, which reduces the risk of damage in the covering or adhesive due to excess alkaline moisture. Board joints must be smoothed as well. If installing covering on building boards, follow the board manufacturer's instructions.

Stir the adhesive before use, if needed, and apply with a fine notched trowel or a roller. On porous substrates, use the wet-gluing method: Press the covering immediately to the substrate and rub it onto the substrate firmly. If the covering is stiff or if it must be bended, let the adhesive permeate with air for 10–30 minutes before pressing the covering onto the substrate. If installing an impermeable covering on a totally non-absorbent substrate, let the adhesive permeate with air for more than 60 minutes before pressing the covering onto the surface. Or alternatively, rub the covering onto fresh adhesive, then lift up and let permeate with air for 20–30 minutes. After that rub the covering carefully onto the substrate. Remove fresh adhesive stains with water. Dried stains are removed with a strongly alkaline cleaner or xylene. Follow also the flooring manufacturer’s instructions on installation.
