When tiling a floor, aim to cover 80–90% of the floor area; in the case of a wall, aim for 70–75% coverage. Make sure that you use enough adhesive when installing large tiles (30 x 30 cm and larger). The larger the tile, the more coverage.

Exceptional flexibility, excellent adhesion or higher heat resistance are needed for special tiling and demanding locations – e.g. glass tiles or walls behind sauna stoves.
