Our R&D activities are based on strong chemistry expertise and the use of reliable development processes. Kiilto has long experience of barriers in the chemical industry. Our product R&D is based on industry expertise, and partly on benefiting from product formulae and user experiences in industry and construction.
Design plays a key role in the selection of barriers against harmful substances. Sealing repairs and, for example, alterations and measures to improve indoor air, should be designed carefully and individually. This is best left to an expert in every case.
We provide designers with the most precise technical information possible, as well as product instructions. These enable comparison and choices based on the special features of a site. In addition, our conceptual detail drawings can be used when planning sealing repairs. The designer should always ensure that these are suitable for the location in question. Kiilto Block Barrier
The M1 classified Kiilto Block is suitable as a barrier for VOC and PAH compounds and ammonia. It is self-levelling and enables a neat finish. It can also be used flexibly with Kiilto Hydrablock for repairs; see detail drawing T 40a in the document bank for options.
Maximum storage life if unopened, 12 months in temperatures over +1 °C.
