Coated fibreglass mesh, 210 g/m2
The substrate must be sufficiently solid and sound. Remove any irregularities and cement laitance before installing the mesh.
Apply render in a uniform coat on the area to be reinforced by hand or by machine. Use Kiilto KL fibre render. Install the mesh on the wall with 100 mm overlaps. Pay attention to mesh edges; do not let them curve upwards. See that the mesh is totally embedded into the wet base-coat render.
Place diagonally cut pieces, size 500 x 500 mm, of Kiilto Fibreglass Mesh in the corners of openings on the wall level. Place the pieces in a 45 degree angle to the opening. Reinforce all in- and outside corners with Kiilto Fibreglass mesh corner pieces. We recommend doing this prior to the actual reinforcement work.
