Mixing ratio

Under waterproofing membranes, use primer undiluted or diluted 1:1. Thinning prolongs the drying time of the primer.

Under Kiilto levelling compounds:
- Concrete and cement-based levelling compounds (dilute: 1 part primer and 4 parts water)
- Floors with old adhesive remains, such as synthetic resin and bitumen adhesive (use undiluted)
- Moisture-sensitive substrates, such as gypsum boards and wooden substrates (use undiluted)
- Board floors, such as plywood, gypsum plasterboard etc. (use undiluted)
- Non-absorbent substrates, such as paint and clinker (use undiluted)

Package sizes

1l, 3l and 10l

Storage

In unopened containers, above +1 °C, for 1 year.

Instructions for use

Remove cement laitance, existing surface materials, sanding dust, loose particles and grease from the subsurface. Sand or grind by machine, if necessary. Shake well before use. Apply the primer as a thin, even layer onto the surface by using, for example, a roller, brush or trowel. Rub firmly. The primer layer must be dry before the membrane is applied. Study Kiilto waterproofing procedure guide before starting the job.

Under Kiilto levelling compounds:
- Concrete and cement-based levelling compounds (dilute: 1 part primer and 4 parts water)
- Floors with old adhesive residue, such as synthetic resin and bitumen adhesive (use undiluted)
- Moisture-sensitive substrates, such as gypsum boards and wooden substrates (use undiluted)
- Board floors, such as plywood, gypsum plasterboard etc. (use undiluted)
- Non-absorbent substrates, such as paint and clinker (use undiluted)

Concrete and levelled substrates can be smoothed immediately after priming. Let building boards, non-absorbent surfaces and surfaces with old adhesive residue dry before levelling. The prevailing conditions can strongly affect the drying time. Levelling must be done within 24 hours after priming at the latest.
