Instructions on recycling and disposal
According to the Finnish waste legislation, liquid product waste is classified as hazardous waste. It must be delivered to a hazardous waste collection point, for example at a municipal collection point.
Small amounts of liquid product may be evaporated dry by leaving the lid open in a well-ventilated space. Dried waste may be disposed of with mixed waste.
Powdery product waste can be mixed with water and then let set. Set waste can be disposed with mixed waste. Larger amounts must be forwarded to hazardous waste collection points.
For households delivery to collecting points is free of charge.
Empty plastic packaging can be recycled at RINKI Oy's collection points or disposed of as energy or mixed waste. Kiilto Oy's plastic packaging is polypropylene (PP 05) or polyethylene (PE-HD2).
Carefully drained dry metal cans and covers can be taken to metal recycling points.
Empty bags are disposed of as energy or mixed waste.

What comes to the disposal of packages, companies in Finland can also use Rinki Oy's terminals. In this case, the customer must make a specific contract with RINKI Oy, Finland.
